Orbit lines, or no orbit lines?

LMAO!

I just figured this out.

You can turn off the orbit lines in your right computer panel.. And so i did. And wow!

Wish i would have know this while i was exploring! So much more realistic this way. Only finding planets that aren't scanned yet is impossible..

I find it easier to see if the station I'm rushing at is on the other side of the planet with the orbit lines on. But I agree it does look more spacey with them off.

I only use orbit lines when exploring, not because it makes finding stuff easier but because in my mind this is what the hud of and explorer would look like

PROTIP learn how to navigate without them, your canopy pops you lose your entire HUD that would normally be on the glass

instrument landing on the darkside of a planet on a dark outpost is a pain

I took them off during the first few days thinking it would help with the frame rate and haven't put them back on, I actually forgot about them! If I go exploring, I will put them back on, but for now, I enjoy the vast black in front of me.

i'll be honest they don't bother me, and they give me a good horizon line to guide myself when i can't be bothered to look at the hud target lock. Each to their own on this topic id say
