Orbit lines to have 'depth' perception.

For more CPU cycles FD could drop the expanding blue circles that appear when getting near a planet. It still isn't clear to me what those are about; they are not a landing corridor or gravity well representation (if gravity well, it hasn't been explained and they seem pointless anyway). If FD used something like those or the fighter bay bounding boxes as representing the landing corridor from the mail-slot to the assigned docking pad, then it could be cool.

Anyway, I like the orbit direction suggestion by CMDR GTR2014 (+1); which could also be used to show the direction of travel of all orbiting bodies. Also would like to see same type info for the rotation about an axis of moons and planets somehow. But that's a low prio "neat" UI thing.

+ support

Though, I've been running with orbit lines off recently to keep the lines for obstructing my view. I wouldn't mind the option to only show "drop" lines because those are more useful for scooping.

Would like to see this incorporated into a 3D orrery. The current system map is virtually useless as a nav tool when exploring. Having the capacity to view a system in 3D and see the orbit lines would be helpful in understanding them as you move through space toward your destination.
