Orbital Construction Site remains after construction

I built an orbital facility (can't remember what it was now or how to find out what it is) and it says it's completed and operational but the orbital construction site for the installation still remains (and is dockable but construction services is greyed out) and the installation is there also (but not dockable).

Both are listed as locations: Kudo Horizons and <Orbital Construction Site: Kudo Horizons> and are about 29km apart.

Hopefully this will be resolved in the tick tomorrow but it hasn't happened to any of my other orbitals.

Anyone else had similar issues?

How long ago did you complete construction? I had the same for a few hours but it updated with the daily tick that evening.

I've got the same thing:

Actual construction was completed on Saturday but is still showing the construction site today.

I docked at the construction site yesterday and it was under attack from a group of space monkeys whilst they left the actual installation alone. Go figure.

Guess it might be a weekly server update thing then, in some cases. As I say, when my one and only starport build to date (I went straight for soloing a two-truss Coriolis because I hadn't read the early advice from others, yeesh!) was completed, it coexisted with the Support Ship in my system for around 3-4hrs, then when I relogged sometime after the evening daily tick, the Support Ship had gone and the Coriolis was present and correct.

I never saw it actually under construction at any stage, mind you - is that supposed to be a thing, or only with planet-side stuff?

Thanks. On all of my other orbitals, the construction site disappeared as soon as I supercruised out and was replaced by the facility. I'll see what happens after the tick tomorrow and then maybe report it if it's still an issue.

Mine also still show up on the navigation tab and are definitly there, yet not dockable. Construction completed on wednesday evening.

I saw the video of GalNet News Digest. Seems like they want to adress the problem next week, since some ports did not activate even after the server tick. I guess it will be resolved at some point. I mean, the stations are not obstructing anything and they dont take away any building space. It just looks weird having four large structures floating so close to each other (all within 40km of each other).

Still have them cluttering the place up over in Puppis Sector IR-W B 1-6, too. Around the C star, the old Lindstrand's Progress OCS is actually taking up a slot on the system map, woo, obstructing a building space.

This hit me last night too; only it split an Outpost into an Industrial Installation and a broken Coriolis. The Coriolis can't be docked at, has 100% completion bar, requests no materials, but shows as 0% on System Map and numerically.

Everything else seems to complete ok, but it's the Outposts I hear reports about again and again.

Hello - I've just registered here and on the issue tracker to report a potential fix - I moved my carrier and ship away and logged out of the game. When I jumped my ship back in, the station had appeared (Hubble Landing in Col 285 Sector MT-G b11-7). This did not happen when I jumped my ship out of the system, but left my carrier behind next to the construction site.
(one of the other Cmdrs suffering from this posted a video where their Carrier was next to the construction site)

Since my last one resolved after the tick, I now have another 4 that are unresolved, 3 of them were there pre-Thursday tick. As there is a limit of 5 concurrent constructions, if these remain unresolved and I build something else, will that mean I can't build anything else until they are resolved?

I have one that is 2 weeks old, been through 2 ticks. I have logged a ticket now, let's see what happens

They're breeding! I now have TWO MORE Coriolis stations that I didn't place, this morning's tick (and pass on updating systems?) seems to have cloned the names from the Tier 2 Installations around planets 5 and 6, and neither of the new ones can be completed due to having a full collection bar, asking for no resources, but showing 0 progress.

Mmm bugs.
