Don't know why I haven't noticed this before, but has anyone figured out what the orbital lines around planets in the System Map represent? I'm not talking about the stationary ranging lines you see when flying near planets. I've noticed lately (and don't remember ever seeing these before) that if you're in the System Map, and zoom in on a landable planet, there are blue, rotating lines that are best described as orbital lines. Most of the planets I've looked at have multiple lines in various orbital planes. The lines are rotating, and sometimes have a secondary line with them that also rotates. Additionally, some (all???) of the orbital lines have short lines perpendicular to the orbit line that range from very short to medium long.
I have no idea what they are or what they're supposed to represent, and thus don't have any real use for them at the moment.
Anyone else notice these before, are they new or have they been around for a while, and what do they represent??
Thanks and Regards!!
