I wish I could toggle, or upgrade the System Map to give me an orbital map of the solar system I'm in.
I also wish I could tell the computer to calculate the circumstellar habitable zone (CHZ) for the stars in the solar system I'm in and neatly project it onto the System Map. More than anything I think it would just be interesting to see what the CHZ would look like, especially in systems with multiple stars.
A map of this kind would be much more useful for explorers in particular because we could then do two things that would improve our lives.
PS: Locking target (or even manually plotting route) from the System Map would be nice.

- We could very easily figure out if the system had any valuable planets in that ever-so-important CHZ.
- We could plot our "exploration route" to be more efficient than simply going from the nearest unexplored object and over to the next nearest unexplored object after that.
