this thread leaves me with a question: will FD stock all the books as part of the ED store so they are all available from one place?
That would be an amazing way to promote the books, however with most books being self published, or through different publishers then I don't see how they could be all distributed through elite without Frontier having to buy a stock.
So I would say Michael Brooke's official sequel would be likely to be distributed through the frontier shop, but maybe it would be e-book versions? That would work for all authors...
I guess we need to wait and see..
Amazon seems to manage perfectly adequately in selling stock that they do not have and is serviced by someone else. That would be an amazing way to promote the books, however with most books being self published, or through different publishers then I don't see how they could be all distributed through elite without Frontier having to buy a stock.
...though there are still a couple of independents out there that look likely to publish.
Yes. Yes there are.![]()
At least one of which is refusing to take my money ...![]()
If you mean me, there will be ample opportunity after the book is released. That way, you get to read reviews and can decide if it's worth your hard-earned pocket incinerating pounds.
