Orion Constellation Visitation problem

On a newly refreshed Exploration kick, My new goal is to visit all the stars of the Orion Constellation. It will be interesting to personally grasp how separate they are in the distance axis from Earth.

Upon making a list of the stars to plan my journey, and checking the galaxy map, Ive hit a problem:

90% of the stars are there as-is, waiting to be burned up against (looking at you, Betelgeuse)

The middle Belt Star in Galaxy map was not "Alnilam", but rather its alternative name "Epsilon Orionis" that one I figured out. (and wow that's the long distance one)

But we get to the top star- the head- "Meissa", "Lambda Orionis".. all come up negative. when viewing the constellations from Sol, I see the head star connected, but cannot identify it/select it.

So, fellow explorers... help? :)

I wonder if I will find any Pyramids in the Alnitak system.. just to see if all those Great Pyramid Theorists about it being a alien-tech portal anchor had any merit (with Fdev ;) )

Great minds think alike. I started similar journey a year ago. :)

I did get sidetracked a few times, but of the Wikipedial list (or stars directly connected to it one way or another) I've explored 215.
In addition to that there's the Orion Nebula cluster where I found (and explored) 747 systems having "Orionis" in their name. This was one of the 'sidetrack' things. :) Another bunch I call DM99 cluster, there I found (and explored) 53 systems having "Orionis" in their name.

I'll share my notes once I have completed my trek. :)

BTW, has anyone found WASP-82 in the game yet? Or Theta1 Orionis A?

interesting cases :-/ ... theta1 orionis should be ingame under its other names --- like HIP 26220, or HD 37020, but isn't. MB stated in another thread that all HIP-objects are in, so this is maybe a bug? can't find any other WASP-82 names in literature on its exoplanet, you should be able to identify it in a skybox from sol...

Yes,
Theta1 Orionis A isn't in the game (as far as I know), both the HIP & HD numbers searches always result in blank
Theta1 Orionis B is in as HIP 22257, but the location seems wrong
Theta1 Orionis C is in as Theta Orionis C, but the location is completely bonkers and both the HIP & HD numbers searches always result in blank
Theta1 Orionis D isn't in the game (as far as I know), both the HIP & HD numbers searches always result in blank
