So I went over the Felicitys to add DD3 and Drag Drives to my T9, the Ornery Oxen, and as I'm sitting there, looking at my landing pad that's currently occupied by a T7, I get a call for help... Mystified as to what kind of help I could actually provide, I enquired as to what they needed. It turns out that two commanders had fallen into a very deep and steep crater and wanted to ride the T9 to safety.
I took a bit to find them, I had to break out the fighter, but finally, at the bottom of a very deep and steep crater, there they were... I managed to down low enough for them to jump on, but I went too fast and they fell off. I attempted to bring one out, moving about 5 ms on the way up and once I got to the top, I moved about 5 ms forward until he could safely jump off. Unfortunately, the second commander got stuck and I guess he self destructed before I could get back to assist.
Just another day at Farseers...
I'm, of course, prevented from naming and shaming the luckless commanders by forum rules.
