Horizons Orrere 2B Crashed Anaconda

You sure you weren't on the other side of the Planet?

Not trying to be a smarthead, I genuinely did that on my first visit 'cos I didn't pay attention to the (-) on the Latitude... Funnily enough, there was a Viper nearby with a Mining station in the general area (but not exact coordinates). Super weird coincidence 'cos I thought they were random spawn POIs.

It's entirely possible, I'll fly there again very soon.

Smoke and mirrors from people who believe things like this Conda should not be in game.

Wrong. I wanted it to be in game so I could collect the Zirconium out of it for the Engineer upgrade.

I went there once, never again. Don't know if it's permanently on the dark side but couldn't see a thing. In making the dark side darker have they made the SRV lights weaker too? And I had managed to find a landing spot very close by as well. I was told I could find Antimony there but there were only 5-8 gold canisters, SRV max 2 limit, even across that short distance I gave up and left.

You need to look for the cargo racks.
There are 3.
The mats are not in canisters.

No harm done. A completely honest mistake was made. That Anaconda is a godsend for many of us and a report of its status is always of interest. Without that site I would not have been able to stomach getting my ships so well engineered. Thank goodness it's still there. Phew! Fly dangerous!

Trying to drive round that cramped, crumpled and almost pitch black site in my SRV was the most awful hour I ever spent in ED.

But also one of the most productive.

I suppose that's what game designers call "balance".:)

Went to the exact coordinates, the Anaconda was not there.

It was there when I went back. The Viper/Mining Op that I found before is at 43/175 (positive 175) .. not too far away. I mistook the early POI indication for the Anaconda location. I did manage to land my Python super close to the Anaconda so the SRV drive over was short, sweet, and mostly smooth. I ended up getting my SRV stuck in the wreckage and had to self-destruct but I managed to collect some goodies beforehand.

Nope, it's gone, changed modes, waked out and back in, logged off, still no crashed Anaconda.

then you not at the right spot, im there as we speak , make sure to scan the conda from the rear end once you find it, will show up in your nav panel for future referance.
im right in the middle of it , cords are >>> 43.8247 -173.9656

You are either at the wrong planet, wrong coordinates or trolling. I collected some antimony there just yesterday.
None of the above, please note the the coordinates and planet, if I'm wrong please tell me what it is....

Thanks, those coordinates are different, I will try again at a later date, I was at 43.01 - 173.9

For those that are looking for rare materials and remember the crashed Anaconda, DO NOT APPROACH IT
Graphics are all messed up. You will not be able to do anything. Your SRV will read the Cargo Bay Doors
but it is impossible to do anything at the site. Terrains in different planes, stars at the bottom, sand on top,
Graphics totally fractured

Been there and can confirm there are bad glitches* but although those affected my salvaging tour (you can see where the tracks are interrupted because i drove under the surface) i picked up 19 commodities for app. 80,000 cr, some Tungsten and Ruthenium out of all three cargo racks, and i scanned the data core.

PS i am still hovering where the shot is taken while writing this.
Going down at 43.8214, -173.9800 you land directly on top of the wreck and you can see the cargo behind it easily.

* My GPU is a Radeon R280X and i do not think this is a driver issue.

Second visit, same salvage, no glitches. Same PC, same GPU, same drivers, same account.

Guess there is a meshing error leading to a displacement that affects the player for the time of his visit. If it happens to you, start and leave the orbit then approach again and you should be able to drive around and collect the goodies without problems.

Went there last night. The Anaconda has been replaced with a crashed Federal Navy viper. No cargo to be had.

Also nearby is a defence turret protected surface mining operation. Only thing there was one shield emitter.

I can confirm that too. No crashed Anaconda in the vicinity of Orrere 2B 43.8 - 173.9...nothing. There was a Diamondback Explorer at a small mining facility near by, which I destroyed with repeater fire from my SRV. It dropped some mats but not much. I also destroyed the turrets and the mining equipment which dropped some mineral commodities for selling on the market, no engineering mats though.

It's now the 4th time I tried to find the crashed Anaconda and every time there was none to be found. Maybe it doesn't spawn all the time OR it only shows up in "open play". Every time I went there it was in Solo. I'll try open next time.

Edit: Tried open world...no Anaconda to be seen.

I'll assume based on the fact that I'm there now; Someone's not taking into consideration the dash means the coordinates is a minus, no dash means the coordinate is positive. I got it wrong and after attempting for a couple of hours gave up and filed a ticket right after launch on the ps4. It was then that dash is a minus sign and not a dash.

was there at 22.00 hrs 2nd jan....arrived there and only the anaconda was there, no cargo racks...logged out to the main menu, logged back in and Hey Presto they appeared....easy to get stuck in the geometry of the place though so bring two SRV's if you can
