Orrery Map - remember zoom & orientation

The using the orrery map every time it opens its focus defaults to the main star. This makes it less than useful when it's zoomed in on a specific planetary system as every time you need to navigate and zoom in.
Please add some way of remembering the state of the map when it's closed and reopened.

To add to this, how about being able to switch between:

- Ship's current location
- Currently targeted object
- System's main star

And as a bonus enhancement, when toggling, the Orrery scrolls and zooms to the next object (as per selecting an object in the Galaxy Map). This would give a sense of position and orientation within the system.

I agree with everyone here. Orrery has been promoted and ask over and over again from 2013 and the last update. I think it was promoted in One of the first 10 Newsletters.

If you played as long as I have. Even the first map had issues. Like the Planets did not have features when you zoom in and such like the Orrery dose now. Give Frontier some time. They will fix the issues.

Right now It hard to zoom in certain stars. Or you offshoot to a location nearby. Frontier will get them fixed. Just give them time.
