are there likely to be other food and drink options for guests... i'm assuming there will be other "shop" options but will my guests be able to but burritos smoothies or ice creams?

Yes they will be - e.g. hot dogs, pizza. Soda, as to which other types and how many is still unknown. Also not sure if it will be separate shops, or all in one - like the hats sells 3 types of hats, maybe chief beef will also sell pizza & hot dog.
Yes, I want the food stalls to be realistic. The burger stall should sell burgers, fries, drinks, and maybe chicken.
To be able to create its own "restaurant chain brand" would be cool. [up]
You take a "generic" building, select the colors of the building, choose the name (+ why not import a logo, as an optional, when we have the UGC support), then choose what this restaurant sell (one or multiples products), so if you want to sell hats and pizzas, then you can open a "PizzaHat" [big grin]
So we can make our own fast food like "McBurger", "BurgerQueen", "TacoBuzz", "Four Guys", "Cindy's", "Domingo's Pizza", "Sunbucks Coffee", etc...

They organized two competitions in the CHC to offer a chance to the members to design a mascot (for the "Coffee" and the "Chicken" brand for now)
The coffee brand is called "Street Fox Coffee", and the mascot is an amazing "urban female fox" (designed by SPRidley in this forum)
