Other uses for throttle sliders

Hi

I have gone twinstick. Both sticks are T.16000M so have a little throttle slider on the base of the stick.

Although I like the immersion factor of sliding the little throttle being a numpty I keep forgetting to set it zero when I come out of SC and then wonder why I am powering to the station despite not pressing the thrust pedal! I am now completely used to having buttons set for throttle 25% increments as well as the throttle itself.

I will probably set the second trottle to set the sensor zoom as that would be pretty immersive.

Are there any other uses for a slider that could be used in the game?

Thanks!

I think I use all my sliders and dials for switches, except main throttle. Landing gear, silent running, headlights. Just bind them in both directions.

Got a on/off slider on my x55 bound to my second firebutton. I put stuff like KWS, mining lasers etc on it.

I was wondering about a similar thing.

My HOTAS has got 3 secondary rotary controls and I'd love to find a use for them.

I currently use one to adjust the scale of the scanner but that's about it.

It'd be nice if you could, for example, use a rotary/slider to modify the power of the thrusters so you could set them for delicate manoeuvres etc.

I use the blue propeller pitch throttle on a quad to control
GalMap rotation.
Everything looks so much more 3D if it's gently rotating.
