Our Earth... what Frontier Devs must be hiding from us...

Now... think about... ... think further... not even logic that the earth is still shaped as it is today... can't believe that with such a folk of 'patatoes' we are all right now, the earth is still looking the same!

We're destroying our atmo, killing each other... it must be a virtual projection onto earth, showing us what we want to see and let us think all is fine down there... I'm sure Frontier Devs are hiding the thruth about earth... it can't be true!!!

Let's search and destroy the hidden faction (NASA?) who's working hard on hiding the real things...

sounds like a movie I just watched a few weeks ago where earth was projected to look the same and was really a burnt out ruined place..... lol

Next to that.. 1000 years is not enough to shift landscapes a lot..

We did get a rise in sea water. Cause my country (The Netherlands) has been half flooded on Elite's Earth. Almost exact at how it is predicted.

How far into the future is Elite Dangerous set? Because there will come a time when Earth will be a lot close to the Sun to the point where it will be too hot to sustain life, at which point it will look like a bigger version of Mars.

No, it was destroyed by the Vogons to make way for a hyperspace bypass.

The Mice and Slartibardfast (who designed Norway) have build a new one at Magrathea, and shifted the new one into orbit around SOL.

I thought everyone knew that ...... :)

Last time I checked the sea levels were much higher ( my current location would be miles off shore in game) and the day/night cycle was extremely out of synch with current times i.e. areas that are in daylight right now appear in darkness in game and vice versa. I'll have to check if that's still the case the next time I swing by Sol.

The Earth didn't change that much in the past 2000 years. What makes you think it will look so drastically different in the next 1000?
