Ok so my player faction is dedicated to searching for Raxxla and during our research this has come up. Before I divert the limited manpower already tasked I figured I would come here for some input. Does anyone know anything about this system? Is it worth looking into? Anyone else out there on the same trail?

Plague ship? WOW! I would stay FAR away from that area if I were you! From what I could read in that graphic, if you become designated a plague ship, you are denied landing permissions and will be attacked on sight.

Take a cheap ship build with a few tonnes of cargo space and check it out. If we don't hear from you again, then nice knowing you.

Sounds like a thing one would say to try and hide something in that system

Haha If I don't come back it's because I found Raxxla and I am traveling to another Galaxy lol....or space herpes.

What's the story/lore behind these? Is there a purpose to them?

No idea, we are searching for Raxxla from the original story The Dark Wheel and came across this. Wanted to see if anyone else has come across the system before heading into it.

Think a plague ship has visited my house, the daughter had a cough and snotty nose, I have a sore throat and the wife had gone the same way. So clearly the quarantine hasn't worked

You had me a little intrigued so I did a bit of digging, apparently the system is known and requires a permit, not sure if that is still true the info is a bit dated.

shhhh... the federation dubbed the organism a 'plague' organism because it makes commanders no longer capable of tollerating bull .

suddenly they try to kill all of their faction contacts as on sight. it's like a reverse zombie plague, it makes people out of automotons.

Not really, Horizons is of no use. According to the discription a ship gets marked as a plague ship should it enter the Atmosphere of the Earth-Like moon in the System. Will be interessting to see what happens when we can land on Earth-Likes, but thats probably quite far away.

Other then that Lore-bit there isn't really anything unusual with the system so far, I have the permit and have been there.

I would love to check if the moon is landable but you know.

Ah the moon itself is an Earth-like.

Still there are other moons in the system no doubt with outposts.

Also what's up with the permit it has on my screen but not on yours? Did you already unlock it or something?
