Pity I have no Caro space :S:(:eek::eek:

While I don't know the specific system, I will still say "no". You only see signal sources within 1000 ly of the inhabited bubble. Once you get beyond that, no more signal sources appear.

Yes thats why i asked. Hoped they added something to explore out of this bubble.. Not that i have any cargo space in my asp. :D

It's honestly nothing special. You'll get signal sources if you are fairly close to inhibited space, they are just like regular signals

Even though you are right, I think that's not the best way for a veteran player to react to posts like this.

If you find an Ancient Artefact for the first time floating in space, it is something special, at least for you. Last thing you need is some experienced player pulling you down by saying it's nothing special. At least not as the first reaction.

Congrats to the find, Eggtastico! :)

If that had been gold I now be running like hell :)
Standard honey trap is 1 or 2t of gold cargo and going anywhere near them pirates turn up.

I always carry one empty cargo rack (32T, if memory serves), both for instances like this, and it lets me gently tweak my max jump range in the route planner. :)

I'm out close to the rim of the galaxy. One of my longest journeys so far. Thats why i prefered to took more automated repair systems with me, even as it looks like im not going to need it. :D

yeah synuefai is within the 1000LY border of civ space... I stopped seeing canisters after about 500 LY on this trip I think...

Just a tip, if you do decide to pick them up make sure you don't get scanned.

Illegal trading in Ancient Artifacts can lead to some very large fines.

You'll need to find a black market to sell them on.

It's possibly a better response than to suggest that it's worth going out of one's way to retrieve. :)

OP, Ancient Artifacts are one of the things some missions ask you to bring back, along with Experimental Chemicals and so on. They're illegal to carry, so smuggling is required.
