Out in cold dark space......

Greetings Commanders. I just want to say how awesome ED is. Thank you FD for the continued hard work. I started this game as a die hard bounty hunter some 3 months ago. Worked up to a kitted Vulture. NPC combat became too easy. I was not overly excited by PVP combat but dabled in it anyway. Don't get me wrong The grind was awesome as a bounty hunter. Then the stars began calling me. I cashed in my bounty money on a shiny new ASP, kitted for exploring. Set out into the dark void 2 weeks ago and have not looked back. Have only made it some 800 LY from populated space but I have been scanning everything worth scanning and seeing the sites (taking pics too). Headed where the solar winds take me. I must say the at first I thought exploring is not for me when i starred the game. But now I encourage everyone to go out into the vast darkness of space and spend time taking in everything the galaxy has to offer. I see myself staying out as long as I can, Exploring, as long as the hull and canopy allow...... see you around..... when I get back. Keep the lights on back home those of you that are still in populated space.
Safe travels to all you fellow Commanders.

Thank you.

Also a thank you to the Commanders that post on this forum. I have been hanging out in the background for months reading the forum. I have learned so much just from the helpful Commanders on here. It has set me down the right path.

Welcome aboard CMDR Reaper but be aware that exploration is a virus that can't be shifted easily. Once the bug has you, it's tough to shake off. ;)

Welcome to the club Commander!

It certainly soon gets under your skin and you just seem to want to always make that next jump to see what's there.

Enjoy, happy scanning & fly safe!
