Out In The Black Again

After several weeks - or so it seemed - of blowing up asteroids to fund my exploration Anacaonda, launched my latest expedition away from the Bubble. Similar to what I did last time, first of all heading down to Explorer's End then pushing up the west side of the galaxy as far as I can reach, to Beagle Point. Depending how burned out I am by then will either run straight back in via the neutrons, or maybe cruise down the eastern side a bit before heading back in.

The ship: Soaring Spirit - a 59.4 KY jump capable Anaconda. This will make the journey slightly different and maybe easier compared to last time when I was in a 47 LY AspX and almost got stuck in a few places.

The policy: En route to EE, I'm FSSing every third system or the next available thereafter if it's a dud with "System Scan Complete" at the honk. Any high value planets - ELW's, water worlds, anything with life within a 3Kls range will get a surface scan, unless already claimed by another pilot. Landing every 30 jumps or so to build up supplies of premium jumponium and repair materials, in particular yttrium, polonium, arsenic and zinc. I want at least 50 100% extended jumps available.

Once I get to EE, I'll probably drop back to FSS every 5th system otherwise it will just take too long. However in such distant reaches I might be more inclined to venture out into the system and carry out more surface scans.

Voyage estimated time is 2 - 3 months before I arrive back in the Bubble, or well before Flight Sim 2020 is released, anyway!!
