In Issue 20: we find out more about the order of pilots that are Mobius; dive into the red tape of the Federation; take a tour of Barnard’s Loop; compare two very popular ships, the Krait Mk II and the Python; explore some pulsars in 47 Tucanae; interview a well-known artist; investigate the Phoenix Campaign; get a brief look into the life of one of the most powerful and popular politicians in the Galaxy; and more!
Seeking Powerplay writers
Want to publicise the great things your group are planning, or celebrate your latest successful operation? We’re looking for dedicated writers to cover the events in the world of Powerplay! Come and share your stories, as well as act as an essential bias-check on our other writers… Visit our Join Us page to find a link to our working Discord server.
Co-Pawlots
We’re looking to feature your furry or not-so-furry companions in our Co-Pawlots section. Whether your companion keeps you company on long journeys out into the black, or makes flying extra challenging by messing with your flight controls, we’d like to hear about them. We encourage you to send in a submission via our website or send us an email with all the details of your companion. Tell us your Cmdr name, your co-pawlot’s name, your co-pawlot’s designated role on-board ship, a sentence or two about them, and be sure to include a well-lit hi-res picture of them.
Submissions of your companion(s) enter you for a chance to win a rare paint job or a paint job pack. A random submission will be selected each month and the submitter contacted via email.
Issue Release Livestreams
For the past few months we’ve held a livestream on the Sunday following the release of a new issue. These livestreams contained interviews with our writers and gave an inside look at some of the articles. After internal discussions about the production of these livestreams, we’ve decided to change the format. This change should bring about a better viewing experience. Stay tuned to our social media channels for announcements!
Audio Edition
The fully voice-acted audio edition of the magazine is now available on a number of services. Visit our podcast website page to see them all. We are steadily working through the back issues to audiofy them. The release rate has been one per week. You’ll soon be able to listen to the entire collection of Sagittarius Eye while out and about in the black without having to worry about crashing into planets and stations (unless, of course, you are prone to crashing anyway).
Seeking More Vocal Talent
As the production of the podcast continues, we are seeking more vocal talent to add to the variety of readers. If you’d like to join and contribute your voice, visit our Join Us page where you’ll find a link to our working Discord server.
Call for Artists
We’re looking for artists to join the team and help produce the best magazine in the Galaxy. Any artists that are interested can visit our Join Us page where you’ll find a link to our working Discord server. Please note that we are a fandom group with no paid positions.
Seeking News & Event Submissions
Heard some news floating around the spaceways or know about an upcoming event? We’re looking for news and events from around the Galaxy. If you have any leads for news or events, send in a submission via our website.
Sagittarius Eye News Bot
The Sagittarius Eye News Bot is continuing to spread around the community. If you’d like to stay up-to-date on news and events from around the Galaxy, visit our bot install page for our Discord notification bot. We are continuously working to improve it and offer better news distribution.
Patreon & PayPal
If you would like to support us, we have a Patreon that offers various rewards to supporters. All funds raised go towards paying our operating costs. Even $1 helps and it would get your name in the magazine! If you don’t use Patreon and would like to make a one-time donation to the magazine, we have a PayPal Donation Link.
Our next issue will be released on Thursday, May 16th. Until then, keep an eye out for forgotten eggs!
