Newcomer / Intro Out of fuel, please help !

Hi all,

I think I did something everyone does some day: was busy happily busting wanteds at a RES site, then peeeew, out of fuel.
I forced shut down the game with ~24 minutes of oxygen remaining in hope it doesn't keep counting down while disconnected.

I'm at [edit : huh, some RES site near a big planet]. Is it possible for anyone to retrieve me there with a fuel limpet so I can save my ship and a full fuel tank of bounties please ?
Say when I can reconnect - and how I can reward you as I have no idea of how to do that.

Yes contact the Fuel Rats (and remove the location from your post) - 15,717 successful rescues and counting according to their Leaderboard. So you are one of many. Good Luck.

OK for the location, edited. I always play solo but I wouldn't want a Fuel Rat to get blown because of me

The Fuel Rats can only help you in open - and, believe it or not, there are (broadly speaking, on the secondary evidence that they can control a CMDR in this game) people out there who would go to the place you now edited and wait for the Fuel Rats to arrive.

I do believe that, that's also why I usually play solo, I'd hate being unsuspectingly busted by some moron picking me up half dead after a frantic bounty hunting session

However as I am quite busy IRL, I'm not sure I can play again in the days coming.
Message to the morons who would wait for me : prepare some food, water, toilet paper, and a truckload of coffee ! [heart]

Glad we could help you.

Yeah people trying to pick on fuel rats and the people needing rescue does happen but its very rare, in some cases we do rescues in private groups but for the most part open is easier and usually safe as long as no one adds any other people to the wing or friends list.
