Out of game access to sold exploration data from all platforms

The way it stands, only PC based (and maybe Mac) can contribute to EDSM/EDDB for their exploration efforts. I see this coming up from time to time in Canonn discord - a console based player wants to contribute to a project but cannot if it involves new planetary scans or logging system coordinates unless they are willing to type in the data manually. This is very time consuming, boring and error prone. Likewise in projects such as hunting for new Thargoid Sites (previously termed Unknown sites) we rely on EDSM data to find potential systems. Having personally checked and scanned hundreds of systems in the 150ly bubble around Merope manually - this took weeks - it's very sad to me that the data has already been sold to UC in game but we cannot access it from EDSM.

I would like to propose 2 potential solutions to this :

1) Integrate EDDN into the game client for all platforms. This would send the scan data as if a 3rd party program like EDDiscovery or EDMC was scanning the logs. This leaves the issue of previously scanned and sold data. A one off sql dump of all sold data (ie name tagged bodies) either publicly available for download, or selectively available to Anthor, Themroc and other trusted 3rd party developers.

2) An sql dump weekly (as mentioned above) on the thursday downtime to update the 3rd party databases with sold cartographic data.

Personally I would prefer option 1, assuming either of these would be under consideration. I'll be at the expo on the 7th if the idea seems sound to discuss over drinks :)

Option 1 would require a degree of integration and collaboration which is prohibitively expensive to co-ordinate.
Option 2 is expensive in both terms of manual effort involved and the sheer volume of data to transfer.

Sorry, but personally I don't think it would be realistic to expect either of these options.

Perhaps a third option would be to allow the API to give access to login and data sales?
This would be expensive in terms of development but at least more viable security wise.

whilst id love to see it..

i think the only way that can be done is if the made the Journal info server side and allow community apps to tap into that.

considering the type of servers they been using so far i doupt they'd go for that.
