I bought the full version of this tech demo long long time ago and recently decided to re download it to see whats new. And, oh my, apart from Earth they re created Moon, with low gravity effect. Not sure if available with the basic free version tho.
I also enjoy new cloud system and procedural roads. You can now play Earth truck simulator (or Moon) if you wish!
Anyway making this quick post to anyone interested, looks like project is still slowly moving forward.
