How should I spend my 15K I got from Trading?

I was thinknig I liked the sound of 2 machine guns and a pulse laser?

Have I got enough for that, and where do I go to find them?

Best buy is one class one gimballed puls
Then go to a extraction site and kill wanted ai

There are only 2 weapon hardpoints on a Sidewinder. I simply run 2 pulse lasers. That's it. If I get destroyed then it only costs 1,850cr to replace the loadout.

I think cannons are over 10Kcr each, so you can't afford two.

My advice: Get a second pulse laser (or splash out and go for a beam laser, they're 10Kcr each too), and go hunting in the conflict zones. You'll make much more money that way.

Yeah as mentioned only 2 hardpoints on the sidewinder - some ppl like x2 gimballed pulse lasers but fixed pulse lasers work just as good.

30-45 minutes later with 2 lasers I'm up to 25K :)

I want a gimballed weapon however as mouse and keyboard isn't suited to fine aiming :-(

Where would I go to get the cheapest gimballed laser?

I think cannons does not fit with lasers. Lasers hit instantly middle of your crosshair, while you need pre-fire with cannons. Also cannons have bigger range, but are limited on ammo, you can take down 5-10 ships before you have to go to buy more ammo.
