Outfitting forces module sale instead of store

Title covers it all.
Buying a new module should allow you to store the one that's currently in the slot - like it does in Horizons and before Horizons. In Odyssey you can only sell it, so it takes a BUNCH of extra UI navigation to store it first.

The UI seems to be a fairly universal complaint right now. Hopefully they tweak it a bit to fix those issues. At very least, I hope they do something b4 the fall release on consoles and the planned graphics/UI merge with Horizons.
Please continue to make yourself heard though. It's likely the only chance we have of them either tweaking/fixing this UI, or reverting back to the more functional current Horizons UI.

I swear when using the alpha there was a radio switch at the bottom of the UI that selected between always sell and always store, has that gone?

what is more annoying to me is the fact that since there is no "Save loadout" function for ships like there is for your suit now to install multiple modules on a ship you must first remove and store each module and then you must goto the module Tab and install 1 module a time and then go back to the module tab again to install the next... it can take upto 30 minutes just to refit a ship to change roles.. if this aint fixed soon your gonna loose a lot of your more casual player base.

Personally, I have rolled back to Horizons until the functionality of Odyssey reaches that level.

There are a lot of good things about the new layout, but if you can't do what used to be very easy then it fails at the first hurdle.

The devs should have to swap parts from one craft to another craft over and over for a day, parts that are not sold at that station, then let them back at the code knowing they have to do the same again in a little while.

You can bet the process would quickly become quite streamlined and intuitive...
