Outfitting toolkit

Anyone know of anything that will tell me where I can get this or that bit of kit?

There are several really good ones that deal with locating and trading commodities, but I haven't found one that will tell me where I can locate any particular Outfitting item.

Nothing that i know of sorry. The outfitting items seem to be random, but i have noticed that there is usually more items to choose from, from worlds with higher populations although i have found some things that i've been searching for ages for at sparsely populated places. I tend to check at high tech and industrial worlds but i'm not really sure if it makes much of a difference.

You can find all upgrades at a system called XZ Arietis or something, it is about 20 light years from Earth (neighbouring all the Lacaille and Ceti systems).

Generally you will find good upgrades in hihg tech + high population systems.

They're not random at the moment, as in if you find a system with fsd's and go back there the next day it will still have them.

So a tool with some user generated content might be useful, there's already several threads on the forum for this.
