One of the things new players find most daunting and problematic is buying and outfitting new ships. First, they don't know how much money they need up front for a ship and the minimum outfits to make it viable. Then they don't actually know how to outfit them, the order in which fittings should be chosen and how important is to put some reasoning behind a build. And finally, because there are some very important considerations at the hour of fitting a new ship (where are the components they need, how much they cost, but avobe all, to always respect Rule#1: Always leave some money in the bank to cover for your insurance in case you lose your ship.
So I decided to do a in-depth video about outfitting and ship building, basing it around coriolis.io, explaining everything from power management and prioritization to actually designing several different ship outfits in the video, commenting on the reasoning behind each component used. It turned out to be pretty long, but I think this will help new players a lot. And hopefully even some not-that-new players might find some useful tips in there too
.
Hope you enjoy it. Don't mind my accent, I know is terrible
