Reading the ops post it isn't the construction site that will not offer a docking request it is the actual outpost once completed, looking on the issue tracker it seems there is a problem with some constructions with players who complete orbital installations and receive the confirmation screen then find that it is represented by a Coriolis star port that informs them it is still under construction even though no commodities are shown to be required and cannot be targeted to request docking. If this is because you have to wait until the 'tick' it cannot be long before this new colonisation dies a death when players spend hours to complete an installation only to have to wait days before it can be used.
Installations don't have any landing pads, despite what the screen says when you're selecting to build it.
That is an error, a grave error I avoided thanks to this forum. Beta , sure, but…. Maybe after support can assist.
So, medium Agricultural Settlements have a large pads- I was looking for that info in the “Spread sheet” on Reddit. Thanks, crucial info.
