Outpost Landing Pads.

I see that there are a limited number of Landing Pads on Outposts. You have to wait untill somebody leaves before you can get permission to land when full.My question is,if Player A lands on the last Pad and then logs out of the game, does he still occupy the Landing Pad untill he logs back on?

If you enter the hangar, the pad is also freed up... which is good form.

Generally, Outposts don't offer the same quality of services as a station. Many allow you to repair/refuel, buy commodities, and grab missions but don't expect to purchase a shiny new ship. Some may offer gear but again... Won't be a large variety. Just do your thing, Launch, thrust up (relative to the station) and hit your boosters to clear the area quickly. Surface installations, however, can offer the same services as an orbital station. You can check to see if a station or outpost has a service you are needing by checking the station in the System Map. Great when you need to establish a Black Market Network for one of the Engineers or if you are wanting to be a Smuggler.
