Overcharged for ARX

Chopped the overcharge down to just the $US to $CAD conversion! Still haven't recieved the ARX though.


Hey all, New here, not expecting too much but,
I was stupid and bought an ARX bundle, the 51,000 for $37.99. I used my card instead of steam funds, and it even stated right before buying it that I was
going to be charged $37.99.
After making my purchase I was instead charged $51.81 on my card from the frontier store and received 0 ARX. I am in Canada if that makes any difference?
In my Frontier store account, I can find NO proof of purchase order but instead only 10 pending orders from the times i would just click on the buy ARX and not even get to the choose card or steam funds due to the page freezing.

I'm aware the store is having a bunch of problems but I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem?
And maybe as a warning to hold off on buying ARX for a bit lol

All this trouble cause I just wanted to pimp out my sidewinder lol

Well, that sounds a lot like a conversion from USD (store currency) to CAD (probably your card currency). The zero Arx are a problem; did you relog after the purchase?

Yeah that's what I was thinking it might be, the conversion And yes I did relog in a few times after, I thought I also read somewhere that it could take up to 24 hours to update the ARX? So I'm hoping that's the case.
Just feel kinda dumb for buying them so soon haha

Unless your CC is a USD CC, you're seeing the CAD converted value of $37.99 USD.
Completely normal, as FD does not do any pricing in CAD.
As for the 0 ARX count, I'll leave that for FD to explain.

One of the nice things about using my Steam Wallet is that it gave me an external verification of exactly how much I was spending (including tax), giving me an extra layer of protection from being overcharged. Once I confirmed the purchase through Steam, my Arx were made immediately available to me in Elite.
