Overcharged Lasers and other weapons?

I dont know about overcharged lasers, but mine most of the time are overheated.

That's not *quite* true. I have an Eagle with a pair of focused beams on it, attained in gamma.

I also own some Overcharged equipment, but personally I've not seen any others since Gamma.

I've heard reports that they can still be found and I've also seen a dev post on Twitter that they should still be available albeit very rare.

Its a shame there are no meta weapons or modules for ships in game - you would imagine that so many humans and high-tech planets and systems and yet they only came up with few weapons designs O_O and there is no even one inteligent mechanic in elite universe to tinker with them :/

It would be so cool if you could maybe MOD your standard weapons ...

You would think that with games like diablo out there and hundreds or MMORPG's where itemisation is a BASE of the game we would atleast see some basic implementation ....

BUT NO.

Here - have few ships, same looking stars/planets/systems/stations and few weapons - yes its a FULL GAME
