Overload button?

I have been doing the tutorial and am very impressed so far, but I seem to have a problem with the overload to get in the door.

I got the panel off and charged it but I cant get the charger to overload to get the door to open. I have seen it done in the Alpha but never noticed what was used or how to fire the charge.

I hope that makes sense.
Any suggestions

hm ... switched to overload ... but when using left mouse for overloading nothing happens!

I found the answer press "R" to change mode.

I tend to bind the tool function toggle to Mouse 4, so I can activate it with a click of the button next to my thumb.

hm ... switched to overload ... but when using left mouse for overloading nothing happens!

I have noticed (by accident) that if your suit battery is too low then you cannot overload but there doesn't seem to be an indicator stating this.
