Dinosaurs Buildings & Attractions General Gameplay (Owen Grady?) DLC for enhanced carnivore feeding / Pack Hunting

Hello everyone!

(a long text, I know, but please read it nevertheless lol)

I guess that some people here learned already I'm not really a fan of DLCs, hehe. Anyway, I want to propose my idea for one. I hope I won't repeat too much as at least part of this has been proposed already before.

Well, my idea was about a DLC around Owen Grady. Give the carnivores' feeding some love after the herbivores already did get some attention with Paleobotany and Claire's Sanctuary.
Why Owen Grady? Because he's the personification of somewhat """taming""" carnivores with a focus on training and feeding. What shall the content of this DLC be?
  1. Basically Paleobotany but for carnivores
  2. Feeding Shows
  3. More Live Bait
While the Paleobotany included different types of plants that were preferred by some dinosaurs while being harmful to others, I believe Frontier could add something similar for carnivores.

1.
Let's take a Tyrannosaurus as an example. Our big girl has a favourite meal she clearly prefers over others, for example goat. Giving her the food she wants could rise a "happiness-meter" that in the end also gives her rating a bonus of "species-appropriate feeding" (yes, goat isn't really the animal the T. rex hunted back then, but I'm lacking a better name for that bonus right now lol).
However, getting always the same meal can get boring. Our girl wants some change. So after three or four goats the player would have to set a system for the feeder:

3x goats, 1x cattle, 3x goats, 1x cattle etc

Please note, this is just an example. But thus the player would have to program automated feeders that dispense certain food according to a system. Each carnivore could have certain bait animals they like and don't like.

2.
Why not make further profit from this? The DLC could come with additional buildings like the hollow tree log where visitors could enjoy watching feeding shows during set times. Furthermore, tie bait animals to the feeder, that would also solve the problem of the goats looking a bit dumb when they don't flee from approaching predators! Feeding shows would offer a lot of fun to the guests, but would come with additional costs.

3.
And last but not least, add more live bait. It's canon and it would add a lot of immersion and change to the game. I would like to see:
  1. Pigs
  2. Different coloured goats.
  3. Cattle.
THINGS TO ADD OUTSIDE THE DLC!

This also could be part of the DLC, but as it was requested so much from the community and also should've been part of the base game already in my opinion, add pack hunting mechanics in a free update. This could also come at any other time, but I believe it would come as a great addition to the DLC itself.

What are your thoughts on this? I'm glad to hear what you think about it!

I was thinking a while ago and I think this would be awesome with this DLC since it will fit in.

How about for the campaign mode, we actually sabotage our parks as a means to progress the story?

So Owen Grady will help you raise carnivores properly instead of treating them as weapons. But it turns out that the carnivores you raised so far are part of a secret military weapons research!!! Owen does not like this and you as a player do not have access to the ACU team or ranger vehicles as it is occupied by the the security devision. As a means to retaliate, you had enough of this security mission and do the thing you want to do. You open up the gates and release the carnivores. This causes the chopper and ranger vehicles to self deploy as a means to recapture the dinosaurs you sent out. Now is your chance! You go to the ranger station as Owen has made a modified upgrade for you to place in the ranger vehicle, and since the ranger vehicles have deployed you could safely place in the upgrade. Upon doing so, you have access to a new vehicle thanks to the upgrade. And here is the cool thing, now is the time to escape from the park!

During the course of the event, you are meant to place the ranger vehicle in one side and the ACU in the other. The park is very long, and the course of the campaign has turned this park into a giant maze. Now this maze is filled to the brim with carnivores that will damage your vehicle on sight! Your task is to drive you, Owen, and Cabot finch to the ACU station to sneak in and get to a chopper to escape the island. You only have one vehicle, you only got one shot, and you got to make it to the end or risk starting all over.

This way we could do something besides 'keep the dinosaurs in for x period of time'. Now that there is a sense of vulnerability, the park that we built has turned from a prehistoric paradise into a colossal nightmare. You built it, now it is time to survive it.

I had hoped that something like this would be part of the return to jp dlc.It would have been the perfect opportunity. As Grant said in the movie" the T rex doesn't want to be fed it wants to hunt"

Huh, while that story does sound very exciting, I have the feeling it is quite far-fetched... However, I'm also lacking a better idea...

Well, but seemingly it won't. :/ So another DLC might be another opportunity for us players to get this content and for Frontier to earn money. :b
