What would you think about own markers / flags on the galaxymap?
Just like the markers where your ships are, but without having to buy a sidewinder, just so you dont have to type in the system name every dam time...
Mentioned many times, as well as a small commanders note book for any star, so you could record a bit of info if you liked, as well as a visited systems marker.
