Ozark Heritage Park & Ozark Splash Mill water park

Hello,
here are the first images of my new park: Ozark Heritage Park.

In my imagination, this park is located in the Ozark Mountains, deep in the forest.
It's very inspired by Silver Dollar City.
I hope you enjoy it and that it makes you want to visit!
Thank you for your interest, see you soon!

Oh, now that's impressive! The structures are3 really well done, love the little bridge over the stream, and the way the shadows from the trees looks just adds to the woodsy feeling. This is great!

Hello everyone,
Here are the images of the "Wilson Farm" area. It's located at the far left of the park. It features two attractions: a Giant Swing and an RMC coaster.

Thank you so much for your feedback and comments!

Wow! I really, really love this park. It's so immersive.
I'm really pleased you've turned the UI off in the latest bunch of shots. It's made the already amazing pics even more beautiful.
I think it's all the little details and all the amazing custom signs that really make this park. It all gives it so much depth and layers.
I'd love to see a little video tour of the park and an Outlaw Run POV.
I can't wait to see what's next.

Hi Nemmie,
Thanks so much for your message!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to do a POV because I'm not very, if at all, comfortable with video editing.
But I'll soon be making the park available on the workshop!
So if you want to make a video of it, I'd be delighted!

Here are the images of the next two areas of the park.
The first, "Harbor," has only one attraction, very, very inspired by Mystic River Falls at Silver Dollar City, and the second, "The Promenade," which is, as its name suggests, a promenade around a lake. A very quiet place for a refreshing and tasty break.
A fireworks display is launched from a platform located in the middle of the lake.

Hello everyone!

We'll continue our tour of the park by visiting the area at the far right, themed around American firefighters from the early 1900s.

The area is called "Fireman's Landing," heavily inspired by the SDC area.

More amazing shots. I love this park.
It's a shame about the video, but I'll be downloading this park and taking a look around as soon as you upload it

Fire in the Hole is supposed to be a more tame ride with fire theming, not an unthemed coaster with banks and twists and drops. SDC built a new one in a new spot after tearing down the old one. Dollywood has Blazing Fury, which is the original ride. Looking forward to downloading this park soon.

The buildings, use of wood and rocks and architectural style of your park is so great - love the landscaping too - reminds me of Silver Dollar City and Dollywood - awesome work!

Hello everyone!

Let's explore a new area.

As promised, we return to the park's main square, this time heading left.

We'll discover a small area called "Liquor Street," themed around the production of liqueur, an alcohol during the American pioneer era.

This area includes one "Whirlpool"-style flat ride (in the game), one children's flat ride, one miniature train, and a junior coaster.

Of course, there are all the necessary amenities, such as concession stands, restrooms, restaurants, and more.

The first attraction is a flat ride called Elixir. Here, passengers will experience a sensational experience in a distillery.

Amazing, as usual.

One suggestion I'd make is try to play with colour more. You've done some little splashes of colour in some places which are great. I'd say just a few pops of colour scattered in the places where everything is very brown and earthy would really elevate what you have. You don't even have to go for bright, saturated colours. Even really muted colours will still look colourful and enhance the predominant colour in the neutral tones.

For example, the square picnic parasols outside the little train station, could really benefit from a little colour. The darker colour on them could have a really muted lavender and/ or muted teal on alternate umbrellas that would lift the whole scene. The lavender tones would tie in with the surrounding flowers. And because lavender/purple is the complimentary colour to yellow, it will enhance the colour you have on the station.

Hope you don't mind me chipping in here. It's a cracking park.

Hello everyone!

@Nemmie
Thank you very much for your advice, which I will follow for my future creations. Here I am busy redoing the souvenir shops with the latest update and adding the photo booths for the attractions... it already takes me quite a bit of time :)

That's it for today. Next time, we'll visit the last area of the park, and I'll share it with you during the workshop.Thank you so much for your interest.
See you soon.

Hello everyone,

Here's the latest update!

As well as the link to download the park.

Today, we're visiting the far left part of the park. The area is called "Harbor" and a "subland" at the far end of the latter, which houses a classic B&M looper inspired by SDC's Wildfire.

There are three attractions here: a flume ride with two drops, bumper cars, and a flat ride (I don't have the name of the ride...).

And, of course, several refreshment points.

And finally, we head to a "land" that isn't really a "land" and has been added to the area presented above.

Here, we find a B&M looper themed around the research of a mad scientist.

This is my very first park in the game. I admit that when I started, I didn't really know where I was going.

I bought a new laptop when the game came out, and knowing nothing about computers, I had no idea what it would be like. Now, I regret not having tried to push the realism further; I didn't pay attention to the backstage areas, the building interiors, etc. Something I'll do for the next one.

Thank you for your interest throughout the posts. I hope you enjoy visiting it!

See you soon,

Julien

This park looks very detailed with a parking lot and roads outside the park. I'll have to download it to check it out further. It looks very SDC or Dollywood-like, like a Herschend Entertainment park. The log flume looks very detailed and I see there is a steam train ride.
