CQC P2P shenanigans?

Two strange things happened to me last night.

Match 1:
I could only see one other player on my team and one player on the enemy team. I couldn't get any of the powerups (they were there, but flying through them didn't do anything). I also have a feeling that the single enemy player couldn't see me (I don't think I was fired upon even once) - but I'm not sure of this. The final scoreboard after the match showed the teams were, in fact, full (4v4).

Match 2:
I think I was invulnerable for a while during that match. Admittedly, I was testing out the reverse resistance shields and put full pips into them, but unless those are really really good there's no way I could be under attack from 2 enemies and survive with only minor shield damage. Especially since things went back to normal later on.

I was making this face both times: o_O

EDIT: Perhaps it was just lag? But lag in ED usually means things get jerky and jump around, and I didn't notice any of that...

That happens when bamboo connection players have to use P2P networking. Autokick if ping is too high would solve this or to not wait for other players. Would result in a desynch but only for the player with the bamboo connection.
