Powerplay Faction: Zachary Hudson Pacifier-Opinions

I *think* I'm able to grab the pacifiers now. Today is the start of my 5th week with Hudson.
Looking for those that have used the Pacifier, what's the poop?
I'll swap out the large plasma for one, if it's decent.

The only option right now is a fixed class-3 mount.

I had used it on a Vulture to satisfying results with a Pluse Laser for the second, but I dislike needing to leave to rearm.
However the thing packs a punch from hell against hull. A godsend on the damage department if you can use it well.

I'd say try it out, but it may take some time to get used to it - depending on the ship used.

FAS that right now has 3 pulse, and 1 lrg plasma. The plasma has 5+100 ammo (which I've never been close to emptying), and since frags ammo is now buffed to 3+90 think i'll give it a go.
I'm assuming it will *magically appear* in stations that stock it, as in no need to go somewhere particular to purchase?

Personally I don't like the Pacifier for prolonged PVE like bounty hunting, the ammo count is to low for my personal taste. With its high fire rate it burns through ammuntion much faster than a PA. You can even outfitt the Pacifier at Gresley Dock, so I guess you shouldn't have to much trouble finding it elsewhere.

Oops, in my fifth week from ticking over, but being reported as having only 3weeks 2days pledged.
I'm guessing pledge time takes precedence over resets, or turnovers, or whatever they're called.

I started to make a video about the pacifier... I cancelled it.. It was really that bad.. Class 3 standard frag cannon is much better.

Sure the pacifier has a much tighter spread, but it also does less damage.

That being said, if you had 3 of them mounted to python, then it might start to make more sense, but its not something I would choose to do.

Well that's unfortunate. I've never been a big fan of frag cannon's in general, but was hoping this one would work for me. Oh well. I do like the looks of those prismatic shields though.
