Pack hunting is to overpowered, but I have the perfect solution!!!

As we have already seen, herd hunting is very op, with only two velociraptors they can kill large carnivores or even sauropods like nothing.
so I have the perfect solution in my opinion.
#-First of all, reduce the life of the raptors, they are bitten by rexs, indominus, gored by trikes and they do not die, because that has to be corrected by reducing their vital health so that they are not indestructible
#-second, reduce the damage they inflict, an objectively speaking raptor is lethal, but against sauropods or hard-skinned dinosaurs it should not be as effective, what I mean is that they should inflict less damage, because a few scratches from a single raptor can take down even a brachiosaurus, the solution would be to reduce the amount of damage a raptor can inflict on certain giant or armored species.
#-Third, they must know when to retreat, what we have seen so far whenever a raptor sets his sights on a prey, if or if he kills him, never a raptor go back and takes another direction, he always annihilates his prey whoever he is. the solution would be, if a raptor is injured too much to the point of feeling that he cant go on, he should move away and choose another prey then let him retreat as a failed hunt.
#-and fourth and most importantly, I have a perfect method so that no more events occur such 1 single raptor can kills a rex or a brachi and it is like this: limit the action of the raptors depending on the number of the herd.
I mean, if there are 1 to 2 raptors in a herd, they could limit themselves to attacking small animals or hadrosaurids.
-If there are 2 to 4 raptors in a herd, they could go further afield hunting ceratopsids.
-If there are 4 to 6 raptors they could hunt armored dinosaurs.
and from 6 raptor onwards they could dare against sauropods.
It is a perfect method in my opinion to limit the lack of control that raptors produce by killing everything that crosses them even if there are only 2 raptors in the herd.
Of course, there would be extreme cases in which, if a raptor or few are extremely hungry to the point of death, they could try to attack something out of their reach as a last resort.
I don't know guys, what do you think about this.

I couldn't agree more. I think that that could be an awesome feature in the game, especially if you want to just let a bunch of dinosaurs free, and see what happens.

Good stuff. But don’t forget Raptors are the most dangerous dinosaurs since the first movie in 1993 and its explained very well why . But the titans should not be killable so easy lol 😆 if at all. Sometimes you really wonder how devs communicate such things through. Dunno if the. Worked from home out which surely can make it more difficult to get everything organized. :) lets see how they react.

This is so good, I love the part where depending on the number of the pack they will limit themselves to attacking certain species.
frontier has to see this.

I think this is a good improvemt to the pack hunting.
Other ideas that I have is to limit group hunting only for Raptors, Deinonychus and Troodons since the other small carnivores such as dilos did not hunt in groups like coelophysis.

It would also be good for sauropods to defend themselves by raising their legs or flicking their tail.

Not a bad set of ideas; however, I think we should specify Amargasaurus and Nigersaurus as the only sauropods a raptor pack could attack, I can't even wrap my mind around the idea of them bringing down a Diplodocus or something bigger.

Make no mistake Diplo was a huge animal. If we only knew more about dinos. We probaly only found 1% of all dinosaur species that ever lived. Fossilization is rare and 150 million years is a lot of evolutional time. Imagine 15 raptors attacking a diplo. We dont even really know what they did with the claw lol. So JW has a lot of headroom. As most is speculation anyway.
