Paid for HoloMe Glasses. Character portrait: No Glasses

I shelled out a bit of ARX to get some specs for my HoloMe. Thought it was worth it.

Well, I can't see them at all in my right-hand side panel, so what the hell is even the point? And yes, I've restarted the game numerous times, and have waited like 2 days for this to have any effect. It does not change.

This seems to work in Horizons.

I'm not saying this is high priority bug. I'm not saying this is important or that the 20ARX spent matter that much.

But this is literally a feature people can pay real money for. And it doesn't reflect where you expect it to reflect on your UI.

Imagine if I paid for Odyssey with a check and then it bounced - I'm sure fdev won't like it, or accept it, might even call it fraud. But if someone pays money for a feature in their game, and it doesn't work? Apparently that's totally acceptable. (to be clear, i paid for this with the ARX earned weekly, but that doesn't mean someone won't pay real money for this)

This is a bug that got introduced during one of the recent updates, you can expect them to fix that somewhere in the future.

Your model is still wearing the glasses when your helm is not equipped by the way, you can check it with the external camera. Also, when you wear your flight suit, the holo portrait does display the glasses.

yes I noticed this too. Happened since patch 6.

One small correction...

I don't disagree at all, fwiw, but...the whole game has features you pay real money for, it's not free (unless you got the epic freebie).
Just because it involves arxx, doesn't make it any different to all the other bugs that people paid for

In Horizons, I managed to make a really good representation of myself, which I was very happy with. I've just started Odyssey - what a mess! When I see pictures of myself, my face is nearly like an alien, it's so ugly, and my glasses have gone, but in game when my friends see me, I have great big cartoon glasses like what Elton John used to wear in the '70s, and the likeness of the rest of me is nearer than what I see, but nothing like it was in Horizons.

Frontier seemed to Sacrifice a lot of Horizons features. I think it's gonna be a long long time before we get even half of the old features back. But its ok because I'm still standing.

But despite some things that I dislike about Odyssey, I actually prefer playing it over Horizons. Things seem more clear and crisp to me in Odyssey, and I really prefer the new Galaxy Map - and the Outfitting screen (despite it having one thing that is missing compared to Horizons - if they fixed that, then it would be even better)

I think it has something to do with how some cosmetics seem to be tied to your Horizons Holo-Me, (which in Odyssey is tied to the Flight Suit loadout) and the other combat/exobiology suits are considered as separate. So cosmetics purchased for your Holo-Me will display when using your Flight Suit loadout but NOT when using any other loadout such as the Maverick or Dominator suit.

It doesn't make a lot of sense but then again neither do many of Elite's other numerous ongoing bugs.
