Ships Paint covered in scratches?

I rebought a Clipper the other day, and I'm pretty sure my first one didn't look like this.

What's with all the scratches? The paint is 100%

Hmm, to be honest when i buy my clipper few weeks ago i was thinking it was second hand.
"Ahh the guy is a Delaine supporter. Give him the old one, which was almost destroyed by former owner."
Nevertheless i really love my clipper and even scratches are awesome.

That's what happens when you buy from discounted systems.. It's a factory second

I really hope so. If you like the worn look, don't repair the paint, but players should have the option of returning their ships to pristine looks. Especially the shiny sleek Clipper. I was hoping it wouldn't be so visible on the drab blue from the military pack, but it's still quite pronounced on mine.
