Paint Terrain Problem

Currently, in Career Mode, -- Panda Park-- I am painting the terrain for the Snow Monkeys and the tool to paint will not work!

I'll select snow, go to paint and the terrain will not color. The tool will just hold the snow and spin in a circle when I try to paint. Furthermore, if some snow happens to color the ground, it immediately disappears when the tool moves away.

I may have hit a button that is causing this, but I have no clue what.

Already: Loaded a previous save, restarted the game, verified the game's files and used Google.

Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated! :D

IIRC, this was explained in the first career mode scenario with the snow leopard.
What I do not remember though: Are the coolers actually pre-set on 0°? If not, you will have to change the target temperature, too.
