I was thinking of repainting my chassis red to give it a new affect under the wight lights I'm planning on getting. Bit of light case modding.

Obviously, I know I need to completely dismantle the case. The only part I want to paint is the interior, see. I'll keep the exterior black.

I was just hoping that someone here has experience painting cases, and if they might be able to offer advice?

Cheers.

Take all the important bits out, take any plastic bits off, give it a good scrub with degreaser, mask off any parts you want unpainted (mobo and drive screw holes, and the expansion slot rail - these need a good earth), mask off fan outlets and bays to stop overspray to the exterior, and just spray light coats evenly.

Oh - and depending on what red colour you want, you might want to first spray down white.
