Pale Reindeer Challenge - 1 Million CC Reward + Animal Prizes!

Merry Christmas Planet Zoo Forum!

No animal says Christmas quite like reindeer. Since it's Christmas tomorrow (sort of, depending on Time Zone) I'm offering a challenge.

No one has ever gotten a Pale Reindeer in Franchise mode. For those unaware, update 1.12 introduced a new color variant to the reindeer, labeled as "pale coat" in game. A screenshot can be seen in the list of all the color variations here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2780512734

For the first person to obtain one in Franchise Mode and sell it to me, I will give you 1 million Conservation Credits, as well as 12 other species color variants of your choice to symbolize both the 12 days of Christmas and update 1.12. Want a black timber wolf? You got it. Want an albino orangutan? All yours. Look back at that link for the full list and choose any ones you like.

Frequently asked questions:

How do I know no one's ever gotten a pale reindeer? In the unofficial Planet Zoo discord, no one has ever said anything about having a pale reindeer, and none has been offered in the market-listings channel, and none has appeared in the franchise market for sale as far as anyone has seen or heard of. It's theoretically possible someone got one and didn't realize they had something rare and let it die or maybe even released it to the wild, but we have no way of knowing.

Why do I want a pale reindeer so bad? I collect all the color variations and the Pale Reindeer is the only one I'm missing.

Is the pale reindeer the same as the white reindeer? No, those are two separate variants. The white reindeer has been in the game for a long time, while the pale variant was introduced in the 1.12 patch on Tuesday, Dec 13th.

How can I give you a million CC if the limit is 10,000? You'd need to get a bunch of peafowl or warthogs or another cheap animal and sell them to me at 10,000 CC each. Then I just buy 100 of those cheap animals and 10,000 times 100 equals a million.

Disclaimer: this contest is not endorsed by or affiliated with Frontier in any way and is not responsible if I turn out to be a scammer or something. Hopefully not though because then Santa will definitely be giving me a lump of coal.

Good luck!

A wonderful challenge but slight note to change the first line since this is the forum not subreddit

I understand you very much .. I also have all variations except the Pale Reindeer..

I have never been able to breed a rare color on my own, I had to buy everything. Anyway I've been trying to breed the Pale Reindeer by myself since it came out and constantly checking the market in the franchise, it's very sad that I can't catch it.

Very cool that you made this challenge.. Thank you so much! Yesterday I also thought that I need to somehow solve this problem. I hope that very soon we will be able to get the Pale Reindeer. Let's hope for a Christmas miracle!

Merry Christmas🎄🎁✨

Same for me I am trying to get the pale reindeer since the update release, at least when someone could get an pale reindeer from a breding the pale reindeer will be more "common" but sadly the initial days they wil have so bad genes for the inbreeding

I like this part for the game because is some realistic in the real life it happens like this, :)

Good luck everyone! I hope we can get it soon

I've got a separate breeding zoo set up for them and have some carrier offspring right now. At the moment I'm focusing on the canid challenge in franchise so once that's over I'll try to get some more, get some pictures, and start putting them out on the market.
Just a side note- glad to see someonbe else doing the challenge! Looks like we are going to miss it, alas, even though I produced over 600 gold-rated foxes...
