Greetings Commanders,
I decided to write a journal to keep track about what I find and experience during DW2 exploration. So I decided to share this with anyone who might be interested.
Day 1 (Saturday, 9th February 3305)
"Wasn't there an event in which Commanders wanted to travel to Beagle Point?" That's what came into my mind. So I looked it up and saw that they were at WP4 already and that there's a week left to sign up for the second roster. About 13.500 ly to catch up with the fleet, if I start this weekend.
Weeks and month of far traveling to areas I haven't been before. A good chance to try out my new Krait Phantom. Well it still has to be prepared. The jump range must be increased. Well just with standard components as I haven't done any engineering yet.
So after some quick tweaking I pushed my Phantom's jump range just above the minimum requirement to reach Beagle Point.
That's what came out:

So sign up and set route to Rohini which I reached before the end of the day.
Day 3 (Monday, 11th February 3305)
Slowly I realised what I'm about to do. In the afternoon I arrived at WP4 and it was deserted. So I spent not much time there and went for the next destination. I arrived at Gagarin Gate where I sold my exploration data - just to be safe.
Then I went further to Jo Ella's Flares and the Crux where I quit day 3.

Misalligned Crux
Day 4 (Tuesday, 12th February 3305)
I reached Carawanserai and took a glance at my ASP Explorer which is stored there since last July. It's jump range is below 10 ly. Back in 2015 I started my journey to Sag A* with it, but i quit gaming after about 3000 ly and put it to rest for about 2 years.
Those memories. When I picked the game back up again I was surprised how much happened in all this time. Well after DW2 there's time and money to get the ASP a proper outfitting.
Next stop: Amaethon nebula. But not today.
Day 5 (Wednesday, 13th February 3305)
Lucky morning. Had about half an hour to play before work and it payed out:

My first earth-like world on this journey. Scanned and mapped it and went happily to work.
Good morning, productive day and far travelling. I reached Amaethon nebula:

And went on to Death spiral:

I really liked it there and enjoyed the beautiful view. But with lots of lys to go I had to pass on and went to Michell's legacy. A bunch of black holes there which is quite interesting, but still no long stay. Two stages were still on the list for that day:
Clayfish nebula:

And the Clockwork rings:

That picture somehow hurts my eyes
After that I went to Polo harbour and rested, still listening to Distant Radio 300.5 - great station btw!
Day 6 (Thursday, 14th February 3305)
There was not much left on this weeks schedule. I arrived at the waypoint and there was only one POI left - the Bullet nebula. Less than 30 jumps, just a short trip. Time enough to take a closer look some astronomical bodies.
I landed on a moon which I call "Monochrome Moon" because ist look reminded me of a book about our moon I had back in my childhood.

And finally the Bullet nebula:

Stay safe commanders and see you out there!
