Elite / Frontier Pandora - hide it somewhere!

Hello! The moment I watched it in theaters I KNEW: get that planet to Elite. We even KNOW how far away it is. PLEASE: call Jim Cameron and ask him. Or hide that planet somewhere. I only want to walk on that planet once and mine for some "minerals"!

Could you do that?

Yeah I'm sure Cameron wouldn't want much money for that.

Alternatively, blue paint is quite cheap so you could just give yourself a coating of that and then play First Encounters.

i did enjoy the fact that in fe2 theres some nod's to sci-fi with some of the space station names. i remeber there being a george lucas and a ridley scott. any others i missed?

Those Aliens give us nice aliens a bad rep.
They ended up on LV-426 because we didn't want them :p

What was left out of those movies was us nice aliens helping Ripley kick their butts !

Location: In a hole with a round green door, Oops that's Bilbo. NW UK, Earth, Sol.

Just remember, we are friends with Gandalf.
He's not a wizard or anything, but I wouldn't upset him :D

little possibility for pandora there is, i think

i don't wan't to talk about future releases... makes not a lot sense to me.
but "arisata" for fe2 could be a advice how to start it. i never tried something like it for ffe and hardly managed to do some edits for fe2 myself (he didn't described it to well). only the few predefinied systems are possible to edit. but try if you dare, we will all be curious for the result. ;)

further you can alternate easely the predefinied names or "object" names list. check that imperial, alliance and federal names are generated from different "sets". if you like to fit the game a little bit to your sci-fi universe.

yes, some well known authors/works are allready present (they read the same books as we did, etc)

Thorin sings about gold.

Isn't that from the old text game of the Hobbit that used to be on the ZX81 etc? Surely you're way too young!

btw this thread is getting surreal: it makes me think it would be great to misjump into another Sci-fi universe (like Oolite's ST mod)...

i had that game for the C64. It took exactly 1 hour to load on tape.
The furthest I got was solving riddles from Gollum.
And yes Thorin sang about gold.
