There are some white lights in the cockpit that are so bright that they obscure my distance from target.
I find this a problem while docking with a station and I'm waiting to be in docking range, I'd appreciate it if this minor detail could be altered or if there's anything I could do myself in the settings that could change this.

You can download EDHM and you can change the opacity of the panel shadows which is a decent work around for the indicators behind the nav/target panel.

The easiest workaround is to target the station. Having it as your target moves the distance value to a higher row. I have had the habit of targeting the destination station probably since I started playing this game in May 2020. When it's my target I can read the distance next to the target reticle most of the time, and I do not need to stare at the lower left HUD so much.
