Hi Folks,

I was thinking of setting up an Elite table top skirmish game using the rules from the X-Wing Miniatures Game as a base.

As you can imagine, I don't won't be able to any plastic models for this but I do remember a picture of someone who had created paper printouts that fold into models (Similar to the Coriolis station we got in one of the news letters). I've got the scenario planned (2 sidewinders and an Eagle vs a Cobra with a very good pilot).

So would;
  1. anybody have a link to those paper model printouts?
  2. anybody be interested in playing on the Saturday morning?

Ta

Colin

This is the broken link Alien, it gets mangled by the forum profanity filter, it contains pure white models.

Elite - X-wing Skin.

Hi Folks,

Here's the first Ship card I've done for the Elite Skirmish thing I'm going to run. The stats for the Cobra are going to be different for the final version at Lavecon.

As I'm only doing this for a bit of fun the usual below applies;-

'Elite Skimish' was created using assets and imagery from Elite: Dangerous, with the permission of Frontier Developments plc, for non-commercial purposes. It is not endorsed by nor reflects the views or opinions of Frontier Developments and no employee of Frontier Developments was involved in the making of it.

I've got the Sidewinder and the Eagle to do next and I might have time to one more ship. Any suggestions?

So some thoughts.
A the paper craft builds will be either too large to really use with the X-wing rules well or, B too fiddly to build in a small scale.

As I am a sculptor and caster of resin models. If theres intrest I could do up some 1/270-1/300 scale ships to mess around with. ( but I have no idea if Frontier would be kosher with that.)

It might be a better bet to get someone to upload the ships in a consistant small scale on shapeways.
Again, Frontier Kosher? No idea....

Sorry for huge image...
