So, I'm building a park from scratch in Challenge Mode. I had 2 basic rides and was packing my park full of people thanks to the amount of scenery I was putting down but then noticed that there seems to be a tipping point where no matter how many guests I have in the park, they will complain about the queue length. I then noticed that my Park Balance Bonus hadn't changed in some time.
I figured that I'd topped out the scenery element of the bonus and so needed to add a new ride in order to increase the balance and reduce the number of people complaining about a long queue... And when I added a new ride BOOM! Queue complaints stopped.
It seems that you can only add so much scenery before 1: You have too many guests for the rides you have (they complain about the queue) and 2: The Balance Bonus no longer increases..
Pretty cool actually!
This leads me to my suggestion.. PLEASE can we have a breakdown of the points and how far to topping them out we are, so that we know WHEN we need to add what instead of just stabbing in the dark and hoping for the best?
Honestly, I've noticed that less guests complain about the queues if I've not added more scenery than the bonus will allow.. Might be a happy co-incidence of course..
