Park simulation insight please

How would you guys who've played rate the park simulation? Rides aside, hows the peeps, finance, advertising, putting bathrooms at the exits of harsh rides, food near harsh rides to make em throw up, guest slowly getting more tolerant of rough rides, picking people up and drowning them etc. Those things I enjoyed in the older games just as much as the coaster building if not more.

Right now the current Alpha phase is focusing on the Modular Building and Path system. There's no money system in the game yet, its basically just a sandbox mode for now. We'll have to wait till they announce more details, but from what I've heard on Dev Diaries and Live Streams the Park Simulation will be really in depth.

Oh ma glob! You have no idea how much depth! [squeeeeee]

You can't say that and just walk off!!! [happy]

Thing that I'm most excited about is the fact the theming will actually matter this time (according to one of the Dev Diaries). I used to spend hours and hours on this in RCT3 but always with the thought in the back of my mind "Who're you doing this for? It makes no difference in the game". Now it will actually have an effect on the game - better themed restaurant = better sales, for example.

As long as it's not as annoying as RCT3's VIP missions...

"Joe Sluggerball wants ta visit an Adventure themed area!"

*Builds a million Adventure themed objects and rides and routes VIP through only that area of the park"

"Joe Sluggerball did not visit an Adventure themed area, try again next time!"

This was a thing in the RCT games? Wow, I really need to play them again. I'll probably find more mind-blowing stuff like this. It's been over 10 years since I played RCT1

Vomit management gets real old after a while, believe me. But seeing the peeps' varied expressions after coming off a wild ride was a treat!

I cannot contain my hype for the amount of micromanagement I will be doing [haha][squeeeeee]

I agree, it enjoy the simulation side of things much more than sandbox, yes sandbox is great, you have unlimited money etc, now if you can do the same thing in the simulation side, then it's an great achievement, because you've made the money to build the buildings and rides in the park, more satisfaction.

I can't wait to see the simulation side of this game.
