Park Tour VS Jurassic Tour

This is something I'm trying to find out before getting any DLC.

Does anyone know if those attractions will work the same? Are they both versions (JP/JW) of the same attraction? Or will they be independent? What's the difference between the two?

Unless this DLC has its own research. I'm more interested in getting paleobotany from Claire, which STILL HASN'T BEEN CONFIRMED OR DENIED.

No one knows but I'm certain it's safe to say they'll be the same. Gyrospheres, however, may be interesting.

That's what I'm fearing, but I'm not sure this males total sense as they would be forcing us to get Claire's as well. And of that's the case, how will RtJP work for those of us who doesn't got the rest of the DLC?

Regarding tours, I think they all are of an aesthetic choice. But also how you view tours from what I gathered.

Gyrospheres are the latest in terms of tech, and I bring this up depending on vehicular destruction. So if it applies to tour vehicles, then this may be the least destructible option with it having a higher health/invulnerability to most dinosaurs. You are mainly seated facing the direction of the vehicle with the least amount of visual disturbances.

Jurassic Tour from claire's sanctuary has a truck like approach, you could be seated facing the direction of the vehicle or either left and right in the back with a roofless view. The vehicle is also really fast to drive around in.

Here is a video of Gameriot's experience with the Park Tour:

One thing to take from this is how the cars are more compact than the truck. Besides the 1993 aesthetic, It also appears to not be on a grid. The first RTJP showed this tour on a track, so we may have a version that does not allow for a free drivable option. Likewise, there is that photo of a ford explorer next to the aviary, which could mean that there is a ford explorer option.

I do not think it is a must to get all vehicles, they all provide the same experience based on observation alone. Depends if you like Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Wheels, or spheres.

Unless they showcase something new with these vehicles, they are mostly aesthetic changes with different camera options.

Thank you for that video and you are quite right, in the trailer we see the option with the rail and in this video there is no real.

So, you guys think both are the same game item? Just different skins? Boomer...

Also, any hint or word about the Park Tour Stations being interconnectable? Will that be an option to go from Station A to Station B or will we have our guest endlessly looping through maps as now?

Can't say. There is not much left until the DLC and update 1.12's release.

There will be a developer stream next week (Thursday I believe) that covers the RTJP DLC and that may answer some questions.

I hope so, but so far my main concerns regarding future content were hardly addressed until people got their hands on said content, tbh.

So, I think likely Park Drive will be a separate entity, but I doubt they will answer anything such as if two stations will be interconnectable, which would be my only reason to still have any interest in the Claire DLC.

I think u can buy either dlc and the tour versions for each dlc will work on their own. The jp tour will have different view options like the night vision.

Gyrospheres also have a similar, yet 'different' view than Jurassic Tour and they are essentially the same. I have already seen the options for the Park Drive, though. Looks like it will be the only attraction available at least on the 1993 campaign.

I'm not. I used to read it sometimes but it's mainly full of overhyped childs and pointless discussions, so I'm not it.

Edit: Anyway, why post there when this is supposed the official forum? Do devs read reddit more than this one?

I'm not sure if they read it MORE but they definitely are present there, even if quite quiet.

Hey so this came up in reddit:
153504

It is the description of the jurassic tour. This confirms that these tours are also destructible, and dinosaurs could damage these tours, to which if a vehicle is destroyed, then a ranger team has to be sent out to restart the ride.

What this means, is that these new tours could be a more vulnerable option over gyrospheres. Where gyrospheres are advanced with protection, this could give players a more vulnerable option that could lead to prehistoric problems, similar to the scene of the T-rex's very first debut!
