NASA renamed it's upcoming solar probe to honour the scientist who proposed the existence of the high-speed solar wind, Eugene Parker. So the Solar Probe Plus is now called the Parker Solar Probe:

Parker is almost 90 and this is the first time that NASA has so honoured a living scientist.
