Particle Interval aso. and new Particle ideas !

What about an interval between particle emitting? like: emit particles for 2 secs, wait for 4, then start again! Also wanna set speed and gravity ;)

Got a Particle wish: Big smoke (like from rct 3)

Similar question here: Is there a way to trigger the particle emitters? Would really like it for rollercoasters and path ways!

i think that those particles emitters are just the beginning ! i am sure that in a near future they will be triggered to rides, and also will be editable in term of interval and so on !

I'm seeing a coaster come out of tunnel, sharp bank around to a wall of fire that turns off just as the coaster passes through and enters a burning building.

I think they are in the pipeline, but different sizes of fountains would be nice.

We will receive medium. Small, large, very large would be nice.

Yes, the flame was rather large (and dangerous) I'm sure they will be options on the objects and triggers for tracks etc, give them time, they've only just announced these to us.

I have the feeling there is a reason for them not to show the water emitter in a vertical position. I hope the water will be affected by gravity when it comes out. But I think that will happen in a future update. The particle effect now look like particle animations while it would be nice to actually have particles shooting from the emitter. Then we could shoot water of paths.

I'd love a particle effect generator to simulate little dancing fireflies.

I'd be really happy to see the ability to set intervals and use them as triggers added at a later date too.

Mist/fog would definitely be a very useful addition to these.

Agreed, have it where the particles dont really "shoot" from the source, but sort of just float around and give some ground cover. Would do wonders for any spooky or swamp-styled areas in parks!

They did show it in a vertical position - I think you mean horizontal. ;)

Looking at it, I do think it IS affected by gravity, but can't be 100% sure until we get them and see them, Wonder how long before someone puts it on the pirate in a horizontal position, lower down than they did with the confetti. [pirate]

Can't wait to have a play around with these, lights and tunnels, it's going to look awesome in the dark areas. True dark ride can be built in the terrain with a shell of a building around it!

I don't see why they can't simply give us some particle editor. Did you guys use the particule editor in unity? Very easy. A lite version of that would be amazing. Or at'least some basic particule recoloring and timing.

You know since those features where almost there in rct3, you would expect 10 year later to have them in no problem.

They have their own engine.

And Frontier does not just build it or throw things in. They want it to look good, does not cause problems and fits the overall design.
That takes time.

Yeah, say if you were going under a bridge at 80+mph on a Giga, then suddenly you have confetti blasted at you [big grin]

Or a flamethrower...
